CallerApp Integration: Patient Caller ID & Call Management

1. CallerApp Integration Overview

CallerApp is a telephony middleware that synchronizes your clinic's inbound call traffic with your Invent Medical patient database. When a call is received, CallerApp queries the system to display the patient’s profile on your screen, drastically reducing the time spent searching for patient files during phone consultations.

2. Benefits

  • Instant Recognition: View patient details, pending appointments, and recent notes before answering.
  • Workflow Efficiency: Eliminates manual searching, reducing average handle time (AHT) for reception staff.
  • Enhanced Experience: Personalized greetings improve patient satisfaction and clinic professionalism.
  • Unified Logging: Automatically tags inbound calls to the patient’s interaction history for audit purposes.

3. Installation / Activation

  1. Access Marketplace: Log in to your Invent Medical portal as an administrator and navigate to Settings > Integrations > Add-ons.
  2. Authorize: Search for "CallerApp," click Activate, and follow the on-screen prompts to connect your telephony provider credentials.
  3. Download: Install the CallerApp desktop client on the computers of staff members who handle inbound calls.
  4. Link: Enter your unique API Key provided in the Invent Medical integration settings into the CallerApp desktop client.

4. Configuration

  • Data Mapping: Choose which fields (e.g., Patient Name, Last Encounter Date, or Outstanding Balance) should be displayed in the pop-up notification.
  • User Permissions: Assign which roles (Reception, Nurses, etc.) have access to view CallerApp notifications.
  • Call Logging Rules: Define whether all calls should be logged or only those that last longer than a specific duration.
